What's in Your Bag?

Words like purpose, destiny, and calling get used so often nowadays that it's important to define and clarify the nuances of each term.​

Destiny: I was born for this!

 

Design: How something was PURPOSEFULLY made.

 

Call/Mission: Who I was sent here to BE, what I was sent here to DO; who I was sent here to SERVE.

 

Passion(s): The loves of your life. They are things that are most deeply important to you. These are things that, when you're doing them or talking about them, light you up.

 

Principle: a value or truth that does not change (even if and when your feelings do!)

 

Dream: A dream is an inspiring picture of the future that energizes your mind, will and emotions, empowering you to do everything you can to achieve it. Your dream will always be bigger than you and ultimately will benefit others.

 

Vision: Visions are born when one becomes consumed with the tension between WHAT IS and WHAT COULD BE. Visions often begin with the inability to accept things as they are. Over time that dissatisfaction matures into clear picture of what COULD BE; and it goes one step further from it could be to it SHOULD BE! There's a feeling that this must happen!
